You’re free to act as you wish, but that won’t halt the obvious domestic surveillance. That “nothing to hide” claim is misleading. It assumes only those who break rules need privacy. Do you have curtains? A fence? If so, it seems you’re concealing something you shouldn’t. The logic flips on its head, implying we’re all suspectable until proven otherwise, which contradicts the principle that laws are innocent until shown guilty. See these sources: https://www.aclu.org/blog/you-may-have-n...thing-fear, http://www.wired.com/2013/06/why-i-have-...veillance/, http://www.zdnet.com/article/if-you-have...-passwords. You also look up “nothing to hide argument” and grasp its flaws.

it’s not about hiding anything, it’s that there aren’t many people around. If I were far from the city or on a mountain, I wouldn’t need curtains or fences. Why would wealthy folks live on private islands or remote spots build houses with lots of glass? There are hardly anyone to watch. If someone does notice me cooking in the kitchen through those windows, it’s probably just curiosity—not a threat. They might worry if I’m making explosives or drugs, but that’s unlikely unless they’re serious.

You look good in your attire! Just a note, you’re completely uncovered while using Windows.

Do you think a government official would pick you from among countless candidates for surveillance? It seems unrealistic—no one has time to monitor random people without a purpose.

The focus is clear. Privacy matters for everyone. It’s a fundamental right, and everyone is equally affected by its presence or absence.
