Download issues on YouTube are occurring.
I have roughly 2,120 downloaded videos on YouTube. Recently, while connected to Wi-Fi, I faced issues after disconnecting. The download wheel would spin endlessly, preventing me from viewing my videos. Despite trying various fixes—disabling the app, restarting the phone, clearing cache, and contacting support—I still can't resolve the problem. My device is a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G with the latest updates. I suspect reinstalling YouTube might help, but I don’t want to lose my videos. Downloading works on other phones but not this one. The issue started a couple of weeks ago after I stopped downloading. TL;DR: loading fails and wheel spins when trying to watch videos.
I utilized 114 GB from the 128 GB storage (via the files app). After navigating to YouTube settings, background and downloads it reports 50.48 GB consumed, with 14.38 GB remaining. No usage appears on the SD card.
Having 2100 videos is quite large, and it's possible the app might face issues with indexing and fetching them.
Close enough, everything should work. If I were you, I’d relocate some files to the SD card. I’m leaning toward @Takumidesh—maybe trim the list or explore alternative ways to save and convert.
