I recently purchased a new RAM module, a Corsair 3000mhz CL16, and it functions perfectly. On my AsRock x370 Killer SLI system, after a cold boot, the fans go through a cycle of increasing, decreasing, and then restarting. I receive an image and successfully boot up. Is there a method to fix this behavior? XMP is active and the RAM is operating at 2933mHz.

I possess version 4.60 of the BIOS, even though the latest they suggest is 5.40. It feels like a full dual boot, but the configurations remain unchanged when checking in cpu-z. The timings and speed I defined in the XMP profile stay consistent.

Consider refreshing the BIOS settings and, if unsuccessful, reset the CMOS.
