Double boot setup using fresh installation (7950X, 3060Ti, B650-Plus)
I recently updated my system and everything functions properly except during startup. When I press the start button, the monitor behaves as if it received a signal but fails to boot correctly, returning to sleep. After about 20 seconds it resumes and displays the standard boot menu with options like "del." Once that appears, everything boots normally and quickly. My hardware setup includes: ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS (Bios 0809), AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 (Driver 31.0.15.1694), Kingston FURY Beast 2x32GB at 5600 MHz, WD Black SN770 2000GB, and Windows 11 version 22621.1413. I’m trying to understand why the boot process seems to be delaying initially—it might be a first-time attempt. The monitor is connected via a DP cable in the top row of the GPU outputs the leftmost option.
Press Windows key + R to launch Run. Or navigate to Start and type "Run" in the search bar. In the Run window, type "control" and press Enter. Select "View by" and adjust to large icons. Find the Power option and open it. In the top left corner, click "Choose what the power button does." Then click "Change settings that are currently unavailable." Uncheck the box for "Turn on Fast Startup (Recommended)." Save your changes. Try it.
Thanks for the update. You've tested various settings but still faced the same issue. It seems the problem might be related to the mainboard itself. When you press the power button, the system doesn't fully turn on for about 15 seconds before flashing and then showing up. There could be a pre-check process in place.
