I checked two local shops in town and discovered both had out-of-stock Stem cards, except for Dota 2 Steam cards. After searching online, I couldn't get a clear yes or no answer about using them for general Steam purchases. I decided to go ahead and buy two, and they both loaded into the Steam wallet successfully. I’m now installing Playerunknown's Battleground and hoping it performs well.

The Dota 2 Steam card features images of the game, not just a picture. It represents in-game currency or items. The cards you see in your store are part of the Steam marketplace for purchasing digital content related to Dota 2.

I checked online and found a seller offering a Steam Card for DOTA2 with an image of a Dota 2 player. The description mentioned receiving $20 to spend on content from Steam. This means it should work for various things on Steam. The picture might be a bit confusing, but the money from the card goes into your Steam wallet and can be used anywhere on the platform. — Anthony, November 17, 2015

This is the card here. @HunterSkater429 I often see people offering advice with no indication they actually have experience with the topic themselves. And no one ever follows up with an outcome. I just wanted to say here that it works without a doubt.
