I'm experiencing poor frame rates in Dota 2. During the initial stages of the game, I’m seeing figures in the high 40s and 50s. However, during intense battles later on, my FPS frequently dips below 30. I’m utilizing minimal graphics settings, with shadows set to a medium level, and my resolution is 1024 by 768. Furthermore, loading bot matches consistently takes a very long time. My graphics card’s temperature reaches a maximum of 75 degrees Celsius, while the CPU only heats up to 56 degrees Celsius. The frame rate is capped at 60. My launch options are: -novid -dx9 -noforecemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -map dota. My system specifications are as follows:
Core 2 duo 2.8Ghz E7400
4 Gigabytes of RAM
Nvidia GT 220 with 1 Gigabyte of memory
Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recognize that this hardware configuration isn’t particularly powerful, but I believe it should still be capable of running Dota 2 adequately.

Honestly, you’re experiencing performance levels consistent with your current configuration. Reduce the darkness, turn off all visual enhancements, and I recommend attempting to increase your processor’s speed if feasible.

I increased the processor speed to 3.5 GHz, and Dota 2 ran smoothly at around 60 frames per second or a little less during intense battles. However, recently Dota 2 has begun crashing my entire computer. I reduced the processor speed to 3.2 GHz to test if that would resolve the issue.
