I've consistently experienced smooth performance. However, I've observed changes in how new maps are displayed and light behaves on terrain, which can cause lag in certain modded scenarios. Be aware of that. Overall, I haven't encountered many problems or significant speed improvements.

Really I remember dota just using about 1-2 cores at most and now im going from 3-6 averaging about 5 most of the time in source 2. Also there seems to be a nice performance increase.

That sounds beneficial—it spreads the processing more evenly across your processor.

It's a positive shift noticing games utilize multiple cores.

Seamless shifts, quicker speeds... As smooth as cream.

It was really buggy from the start. You couldn't spot invis units even when they were detected, and items could be tricked by illusion heroes. It doesn't seem like the game is meant for actual play—just use it to test custom games and try bot lobby games to uncover issues. I don't understand why Valve would bother fixing ranking features.
