I’m into playing MOBA games a lot. I’ve only tried LOL, but somehow DOTA feels more right for me… I don’t know why, but I feel it. Have you seen the movie Poltergeist with that wild character who knows everything? Then you understand—I really believe Dota 2 is better even though I’ve only played LOL.

I agree with your perspective. My point remains the same. League is indeed a strategy game, but it also serves as a fun experience. While I find Dota 2 more engaging for its reasons, I believe it’s still enjoyable. However, it’s not ideal for everyone—more suited for those who enjoy competitive play. For me, the best choice depends on personal preference: either go for a tougher game with a steeper learning curve or opt for something more accessible with a smoother ramp-up. If you’ve played Dota 2 long enough, you’ll notice how players come from different backgrounds, which is why I emphasize trying both. Just like you prefer League, I prefer Dota 2, but don’t worry about the labels—just focus on what you enjoy. No need for tension; it’s just about finding what fits your style.

Start by joining friends who are playing; these games shine even more with company than just casual fun. Dota offers deeper strategy and varied characters with simple controls. LoL provides a wider range of character options for more complex battles. The streamlined pub system in LoL makes it easier to join, as most agree on a few key points.
