I've updated the drivers this week and so far everything ran smoothly at 100-120FPS with my 7870. After the 14.11.1 release, I noticed some unusual flickering when launching the game—even at the logo. It alternates between a gray screen and the game itself, possibly in the menus or during play. There seems to be no recent Dota 2 update, and the issue started about a day or two after the driver install. Would you like a solution or should I revert to an older version?

If the final operator performed even better, revert to that version.

Why should you be okay with Dota 2 on a single card? My League of Legends was getting really intense when I played Crossfire, so I changed it to Borderless (uses just one card). It makes no sense to rely on Crossfire if you can play the game perfectly with one card.

I understand but it seems like you're just looking for extra frames without a good reason. It looks like you're still facing problems each time you launch it, especially after the first run. In the context of LoL, it seems the new driver might have actually improved your FPS.

The software you were using before the latest release was from AMD. Their beta drivers have been problematic recently, so it might be best to continue using version 14.9.
