Hello, I purchased a 21:9 monitor for Dota 2, but it doesn’t work well. They offer extra field of view, but the heads-up display is poor quality. The map size is huge, and the portrait covers too much space, including shop options. I’ve sent an email to Valve asking if they’ll fix this issue, but they haven’t replied. I also checked forums—this problem has been around for about 1.5 years, and there’s no official announcement from them.

Dota likely supports 21:9, though LG sponsored it once and most players used that resolution.

I notice competitive multiplayer games like Dota often don’t address such issues. They usually see it as a benefit rather than a problem, so they don’t provide proper fixes. Edit.. Also, what the person above me mentioned, they might support it but aren’t aware of the solution for your specific concern.

Here the discussion revolves around issues and challenges faced by players, and attempts to resolve them aren't effective.
