Dota 2
Dota 2
Hi there. Dota 2 stands out as an ideal game for me. It demands skill, teamwork, and strong communication, with a playstyle that keeps me engaged. I’ve been playing Dota 2 for about two to three years now. The game never gets old; each year I step away for a month before diving back in. This could be due to new releases or personal matters. In Dota, my role is support—helping the team secure victory makes it rewarding. Overall, it’s my top favorite game. What draws you to Dota? How long have you been playing? What part do you play? If you haven’t tried it yet, what do you think of the game? Would you like to give it a shot?
2.7K hours, 51% win rate on Unofficial MMR above 4.2K (Skill Level: Very High) [Reborn messed it up for me; playing there resets your unranked level back to 3k before you climb] In competitive matches with my team, I usually take the mid or jungler role based on our drafter’s choices. I lean toward jungle—it's calmer and less stressful.
The ranking system changes significantly once you reach top-tier skill. At that level, you can compete with players around 4.2k up to 7k or beyond based on MMR. There are just a few distinct skill levels in unranked play, which explains the variety in abilities. I don’t rank high in the very top tier, but I’m strong enough to challenge teams at the 4th level occasionally.
That's nice. I think 4K teams are solid /s No real opinion, thanks for the "great" comment! I didn't realize casual could have an MMR.
Began experimenting about three months ago after moving from League of Legends, and I really enjoy the game. It's great to have skilled friends who helped me learn well. I've reached around 130 hours so far.
