It seems most people prioritize Doom SP above everything else. I own the Alpha and its variants; they didn’t appeal to me much.

Currently, the only competitive option is CSGO, which demands a high level of skill but doesn’t require the abilities needed for Quake or UT. Fast reflexes make up about half of the action in CSGO. The upcoming DOOM eliminates tactical planning—you start with a Rocket Launcher and can launch vehicles instantly.

The same essential elements apply to Quake, UT, and CS:GO... Quick responses, precise hits. It’s the identical core experience. Remove all gameplay aspects and modes, and you’re left with the fundamental gameplay.
