I purchased the latest version of DOOM and encountered an issue when trying to launch it. Steam initially shows "DOOM" in the task manager, but the game doesn't start properly. It appears to close after about 30 seconds, then Steam reports that you're no longer playing. After restarting your PC and verifying the game installation, I upgraded the drivers and reinstalled DOOM. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem?

Check if you're using several monitors and see if adjusting the configuration to windowed helps.

I am restarting it now, it should be a lengthy process.

I might attempt to play the game in a windowed mode by modifying the .ini file (if available). Another suggestion is checking whether Doom launches additional programs or background tasks.

Yes, we can set it up on a different drive.

I’m looking to purchase another drive since I currently have an HDD. I recently swapped my SSDs with someone in exchange for something interesting.

I'm curious about what you exchanged it for... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Another attempt didn't resolve the problem, same concern remains.
