I understand but changing the GPUs would be frustrating. I’m sure his 980 uses a 6 and 8 pin setup, not an 8 and 8.

OpenGL or Vulkan are the only viable options. DirectX isn't supported. It seems the device doesn't meet the necessary specifications, making it impossible to achieve a functional frame rate.
