I'm using a completely assembled motherboard from an earlier project, so I'm confident this configuration will function correctly. Details: CPU – ROG Maximus IX Hero; GPU – NVIDIA GTX 1070; RAM – GSkill RGB 16GB. I've tested various display setups, booted with just one RAM stick, disabled the GPU, and tried all possible output combinations. CMOS was cleared and BIOS flashed manually. Currently, only a brand-new 1TB M.2 SSD is installed. Everything from my previous build remains intact, so compatibility should be fine. The system powers on smoothly, fans are active, and RGB is working. I have Q-Code 00 listed as "unused" in the manual, so no issues there. I'm really struggling here—I've run this exact setup for years before upgrading and now need it for my brother's Christmas gift.

It looks like there aren't many options left. Have you tried a different screen or HDMI cable? Sometimes waiting a bit for memory training helps, and the system might need to restart to show properly. A photo of that connected motherboard? Updated December 24, 2025 by leclod

Consider starting without the SSD. Then the system shouldn’t detect any boot drive and will enter the BIOS. If this doesn’t occur, it suggests a hardware issue such as loose power connections or defective parts.
