Don't know what to look for
I was using prime 95 and the temperature program isn’t by my computer anymore. The temps didn’t reach 80, but I’m not sure which readings are most critical. Some cores were near 75 while the CPU package stayed higher, but I’m still unclear on what matters most.
All temperatures matter; if Prime95 runs below 80ºC for every measurement, everything is okay.
Phazoner says every temperature matters, but if all readings stayed below 80ºC while using Prime95, everything should be okay. Thanks.
Phazoner:
Every temperature matters, and if Prime95's readings stayed below 80ºC all the time, everything would be okay.
There seems to be a misunderstanding about the BIOS settings and the actual performance. The XMP profile was not applied, yet the DRAM was only running at 2733 MHz instead of the advertised 3200 or higher speeds. This could be due to compatibility issues or incorrect configuration. The latest BIOS update should support speeds beyond 4000 MHz, but it might not have been properly recognized by the motherboard.
Select the correct answer and create a new thread for the new question. The only advice I can give you about that is to check UEFI/BIOS RAM settings.
