So the title reflects who I am. After watching numerous videos, I still struggle to understand my components. For instance, with MSI Afterburner, I increased the core priority on my GPU, but after saving, it didn’t actually save my settings. In the BIOS setup menu, only the BCLK option is visible, and I don’t see any other options. The most helpful approach would be for you to walk me through each step—this way I can better grasp what might be going wrong. Also, just to confirm, the parts listed are an I7 6700K (on MSI Z170A Pro carbon gaming) and a GTX 1070 ASUS STRIX without OC.

Msi overclocking is possible through the BIOS or using the MSI Command Center Software. Give it a try and you should do great!!!
