Refers to the action of pressing both scroll and right-click, but nothing happens without any flashing. Asks about the official XPG website and clarifies what the numbers refer to.

Check if Button 4 corresponds to the right button. Does Button 5 relate to the scroll wheel? The link you discovered involves physically unplugging and plugging the mouse while holding certain buttons. Did you also unplug and plug in the mouse? Another point is mapping: it's common to assign functions to specific buttons. If the mouse buttons are already mapped, pressing one might perform a different action. Also, ensure the polling rate remains unchanged.

There isn't any button labeled with a number. I tested both plugged in and unplugged, assigned buttons to other buttons, but it still works at 500hz.

And you have manually downloaded, reinstalled, and reconfigured the XPG mouse drivers - correct? No third party driver installers - correct?
Okay - I also found:
XPG Primer features three polling rates, 250Hz (blue), 500Hz (green), and 1000Hz (red). To change polling rates, hold down the right button and scroll wheel together for 3 seconds. Light will flash to indicate that the new adjustment has been stored successfully.

Reading back I realized that one question I failed to ask is why you are using that Zowie link to measure a XPG polling rate?
I am missing something here.....

I'm a bit unsure about the difference between Zowie and XPG. I plan to shift this discussion from Computer Peripherals to PC Gaming. Maybe someone in the gaming community will notice the polling issue. I don't know what else to recommend if the current polling settings don't work as intended.
