He owns a 14400F, 5060 ti 16GB, 32GB DDR4, NVMe SSD, 650W PSU, all brand new. I assisted him in choosing the components after reviewing many videos and noticing he would perform well in the games we play, yet he doesn’t reach their expected speed. The game we’re using is Battlefield 6, and benchmarks with his exact setup show he’s achieving around 90–100fps on average, while he’s struggling at the 40s with only 40–50% GPU usage. I believe this points to a CPU bottleneck, as his CPU is being heavily used. Although I’ve seen others with similar hardware and settings maintain stable performance, he’s clearly underperforming. We tested all possible configurations—lowest, highest settings, 1080p, 1440p, upscaling, full DDU wipe—but nothing changed the results. Temperatures remain normal for both CPU and GPU at about 50–60°C. XMP is enabled, and the BIOS is up to date with Windows 11 fully installed. The resizable bar has been used occasionally. I’m beginning to suspect a hardware problem. It’s also worth mentioning we completed every OCCT test, but the PC failed during the VRAM test.

Monitor:
Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
Did you install the OS in offline mode?

Check if the system uses dual-channel memory and see how it affects performance based on the game.

It seems the system is UEFI-based and operating within a virtual machine. Extremely slow performance, yes. Please thoroughly clean it, reinstall the BIOS, reformat the drive, and reinstall Windows. It might not be possible. The antivirus software has also been rendered ineffective.
