I managed to get my friend's custom Linux system running smoothly. I think the problem is with the BIOS settings, not broken hardware. I followed advice from others and some tips from ChatGPT, but Windows 11 won't even turn on, so I'll keep trying.

Did you take the SSD out of the M.2_1 slot and put it into another M.2 hole on your computer where Windows can run?

I just tried this, but it didn't work. The screen stays completely black. Also, if I do the three-step download update during installation, it breaks down again and gets stuck on a black screen when I try to restart and hit the BIOS symbols.

I tried putting in a new M2 stick, but I didn't take out my old SSD just to turn off that drive. It still won't show up on the startup screen because it's turned down. But I'm pretty sure this isn't going to cause any problems? I hope so.
