The specs include an i7-7700k at 4.7Ghz, EVGA RTX 3070, Asrock z270 killer ac/sli, 8Gb x 2 DDR4 at 2400Mhz, and a 650W Corsair PSU. After upgrading from a GTX 1080 to the 3070, I’m achieving about 110 average fps in Warzone on a 1080p 144Hz monitor. I was hoping for around 150 fps, as seen in some benchmarks with the 3070. Could my RAM or CPU be limiting performance? I’m thinking about a fresh Windows install to check if that would help, since the jump didn’t meet expectations. Is this Warzone performance typical for my setup? What would be needed to reach 150+fps with a new CPU? Thanks for any advice.

The CPU workload remains almost unchanged regardless of resolution. 100 frames per second at 1080p require comparable CPU usage to 100 frames per second at 4K.

The CPU can work well with 12 threads, but upgrading it needs a new motherboard.

That's what I assumed too. Appreciate the response. I suppose I'll hold off until a Ryzen model is released. But does 110 fps make sense for this setup? I was expecting better performance at 1080p resolution.
