Does turning on reduced buffering while setting FPS to your monitor's refresh rate make a difference?
Hey, I usually play just one game and don’t have much tech experience. The Coalition just dropped Title update 2, which also introduced a new graphics setting called Reduced buffering. I keep my FPS at 144 to save GPU load. My PC can handle more than the monitor’s refresh rate, but should I enable it if I set the FPS? Screenshot attached.
When you restrict your framerate, it also affects how current the frames appear. Keeping it unlimited but capping the monitor at 144FPS results in more recent frames. Just a note.
