Does turning off turbo boost lead to a bottleneck?
I have my Turbo boost and Intel speedstep turned off. Will this create a bottleneck? Can the 3.4ghz handle the GTX 1060 6gb? Honestly, I’m not sure how bottlenecks work. Also, how do people successfully overclock an i7-2600 non K to a stable 3.8ghz or higher? If anyone has any advice, please guide me step by step—I really don’t have much experience.
I have my i7-2600 (NON-K) and GTX 1060 with 6gb of RAM. With Turbo boost and Intel speedstep turned off, will this create a bottleneck? It won't cause one, but it's not a good idea since Turbo and speedstep are meant to improve performance while using less power, which could actually make your PC run slower than it should.
