Does this look like panel damage or internal cable damage?
It was merely a short message recently, now it fills the lower section of my display. I was able to clear it earlier by cleaning the internal wires. The images still work and shift colors, suggesting an issue with a damaged internal wire. I’m seeking more advice before deciding on a permanent fix. 20241019_123231copy.mp4
It seems like a broken cable is the issue. The main concern is figuring out what caused it. It’s different from a laptop that bends, isn’t it?
I don’t understand how it could be harmed during manufacturing. I only took off the rear casing, disconnected everything, cleared all wires, and then reattached the cables. Since the display cable is located beneath the board, I never moved it up.
Interesting question. The price of a new cable can vary widely depending on the type and brand.
It costs $18 for two, and they claim it’s in good shape. It might be worth trying to restore it to working condition.
