Hello everyone, I need someone to clarify what’s going on with my PC. When I reinstalled the R5 5600G, browsing the internet caused a pixelated image to appear. This issue has been present for almost half a year since I bought it used. After a couple of months, it stopped working properly and started crashing with error code STATUS__ACCESS_VIOLATION. It also blocked me from installing new Windows or applications. I had to uninstall the R5 5600G and install my old R3 2200G instead. With that change, everything functioned normally except for games like Dota 2, which would show hardware error messages. I can still play some games, but when an error appears, it indicates a hardware problem. My R5 5600G seems to be dead now. When I switch back to the R3 2200G, everything works fine. Please add my system details.

Did you refresh the BIOS on your motherboard prior to setting up the new 5000 series CPU? Have you adjusted the graphics driver for the iGPU?

I ensure my B450M mortar is updated with the latest version during installation of the R5.

Updated both Bios and the driver I've been using the NVIDIA app for about 5-6 months. This week I started using the R5, and those symptoms appeared.

The graphics driver for the CPU is from AMD, not Nvidia. Click that link and install the iGPU driver for the CPU.

No problem with the image, but the browser keeps showing pixelation and often crashes with the error code STATUS__ACCESS_VIOLATION. It stops the installation whenever I try to upgrade to Windows 11, then restarts on its own or fails completely.

Does the display link to the main system board or directly to the GTX 1060 graphics card?
