Hello everyone!
Lately I've faced some unexpected crashes in my favorite games and even Explorer.
My PC is brand new, and I assembled it a few months before these issues began.
Here are the details:

Specs:
I9 14900k
Aorus Master 5080 white
Dominator Titanium 2x32 6800mhz
M.2 SSD 2TB
Z790 Aorus Pro X white
Corsair RM1000x
Thermalright Frozen infinity AIO
Several fan controllers, plus a lot of RGB fans/strips, and even a vertical GPU holder from CoolerMaster
Running Windows 11 Pro 64 bit

Video of my PC
Now onto the specifics... I’m not sure what might have triggered these continuous crashes during certain games (such as Wuthering Waves, Heroes: May and Magic V, Path of Exile 2) that previously ran smoothly. Other games work perfectly without any issues. Notably, the Heroes game is quite old and doesn’t draw much power, so it shouldn’t cause overheating.

I’ve experienced problems with Nvidia drivers before—reinstalling them multiple times didn’t help. Later, I tried uninstalling all the software (DirectX, C++, NetFramework) thinking the issue was software-related, but after reinstalling my OS and switching back to Windows 10, the crashes persisted.

A day later, I decided to try Windows 11 again. Nothing changed—my favorite game, Heroes 5, still crashes intermittently, sometimes within minutes, other times for up to an hour. Path of Exile 2 behaves similarly: it may crash immediately after logging in (about 20 seconds) or I can play for 20–40 minutes without issues.

I reset the BIOS settings several times, disabled advanced RTX modes and smooth motion features from Nvidia, and even reinserted RAM—nothing resolved the problem. Also, I haven’t encountered a blue screen of death, though I’ve had occasional errors (like UE4 in Wuthering Waves).

Please share any logs you can send, thank you!

Hello there! Could you share your BIOS version for the motherboard? If you're experiencing crashes, let me know. Also, what brand and model is your M.2 drive? And what temperatures are you observing during these issues?

Yes, I experienced a crash to the desktop mostly without any error messages, just a sudden disappearance and then returning.
I'm using a WD Black SN850X 2TB.
I haven't applied any BIOS updates yet; everything matches the manufacturer's specifications.
Regarding temperatures, I've observed my CPU reaching up to 100°C (which seems normal for this CPU under heavy loads), but generally staying between 70-80°C. The GPU temperature is usually around 60-65°C at most. These are the readings I see while playing games, not during crashes.
I wonder if these temperatures could be affecting performance, especially since the game I crashed was a low-demand title from 2006. I didn't check the temps while playing it.
Additionally, other games that don’t crash seem to be quite demanding, yet nothing happens.

I haven't interacted with the software updates yet; everything remains unchanged from the manufacturer's release. Which version are we currently using?

Go here; check the support page for your motherboard in the bottom left corner. Compare the PCB revision there with the latest BIOS version. Flash it after confirming the update was successful. If you missed the 0x12F BIOS update, I’ll keep an eye on your system. If you have a warranty, consider reaching out to Intel early to check if the issue relates to voltage problems.

Just did the steps. Downloaded the bios file for my 1.2V motherboard, flashed it successfully. Then right after turned everything off, unplugged and took the battery out for like 5 minutes or more.
Did the first test now, after playing Heroes V for 10 minutes, whole PC froze, couldn't do anything. Force shut down by holding the power key on the case... Going to try playing again meanwhile awaiting for the next steps
P.S. just crashed one more time after playing like 5-10 mins again but this time crashed simply to desktop

Attempted additional testing, but persistent crashes continue to occur straight to the desktop. Up to now there are no further freezes, though the problem remains unchanged.

Such crashes without errors are frequently caused by RAM instability. Have you ever turned off XMP? You might test using just one RAM stick (disabling XMP). If the issue persists, swap to the other stick.

It was the initial step I took by turning off all the options such as XMP and resetting to default bios settings. Following your advice, I attempted a single RAM module but faced no success. I also tried swapping the locations, yet the crashes persisted (they still occurred occasionally, though this time they took longer). I didn’t have the vertical GPU holder at first either; it seems it might be contributing to the problems. Could this be the cause? I’m not sure if I experienced crashes after installing it, but I didn’t notice them at first. @Lutfij
Is it possible to obtain crash logs or any other details about the crashes? I wanted to review the games to identify where the issues happened.
