Hello
I believe I’ll get a Zotac RTX 2080 since it’s about $60 cheaper than any MSI model available in my country. However, can I still utilize the MSI Gaming App to safely manage the GPU?

For MSI graphics cards, you can utilize Afterburner for overclocking purposes (it may offer more advanced options). Additionally, Zotac provides its own gaming application called Firestorm, which shares similarities and includes auto OC capabilities.

If you're looking at an R9 280, use the catalyst control center to locate your maximum stable clocks. Turn off both sliders by one notch from that position. Write down the values and then, if you feel ready, edit and flash your card's BIOS. You can then use the radeon bios editor to input those numbers so the card runs them at default settings.

NOTE: Changing your card's BIOS is an advanced task and should only be done if you're certain of what you're doing. It’s really simple to brick your card by altering the BIOS, so proceed with caution.
