I'm dealing with an issue using a USB-C hub to link my laptop to a QHD monitor, with two mouse and keyboard dongles connected. At first, everything worked after plugging in two dongles and the HDMI cable, but when I switch to a different HDMI cable, the mouse pointer freezes or lags occasionally. The keyboard also shows similar problems but rarely. Removing the cable fixes everything. I'm trying to switch to another HDMI port, but I'm unsure if that will resolve the issue. Could anyone help identify the cause and suggest a solution? Thanks.

The model and make of the laptop will assist us in two ways. The type of hub you mentioned is often a factor, as a low-quality hub can affect data and signal transmission.

I'm working with an HP Probook 455 G8 and connecting it to a Mazer 5in1 hub.
