I attempted to use a Twain forum but did not receive a response. If this isn't the right place, let me know where I can find a suitable forum.
I own an Epson 1640SU scanner for scanning slides and negatives in both color and black-and-white formats.
The only issue I face is with color negatives. After the scan finishes, the image appears fine, but when I click "Close" in TWAIN, the negative shows up darker with a strong green tint in the TWAIN window prompting for Finish Verification.
I've tried various settings to adjust the original scan and searched multiple forums without success.
My system runs Windows XP.

When saving the file, the color change occurs within that file as well, not just in the preview. It seems the issue might be related to a setting you have applied.

Thank you for your response.
Preview and Scan both produce a correct display of the image – the color quality is satisfactory.
After selecting Close, the Verification window appears. At that stage, the photo shows a green tint. Once saved, this tint remains visible.
