Does the energy from a laptop's power source always pass through the battery?
Before it powers the machine? I remember owning a laptop with a detachable battery back then—it didn’t last long and you’d often bring more than one. Now, they’re permanently attached, and I’m curious if the machine can still work without it. The old ones could be removed, and as long as they were plugged in, they worked fine. But I’m not sure about this new model. In short, does the power always go through the battery first to ensure it’s full, or is it just directed to the battery when it needs charging? Thanks.
It relies on the internal components of the laptop, yet the battery remains charged even when the device is turned on. The system halts charging when a specific part inside the battery indicates it's sufficient.
