I'm preparing to construct this system using the provided links. The MOBO specifications indicate two cables for the CPU, with an x24 pin fitting into the motherboard and an x8 into the CPU socket. Should I look for a different PSU that includes the required x4 cable?

The top left hand corner features 2xEPS connectors, one 8pin(ATX12V1) and another 4pin(ATX12V2). If your board includes power input connectors, ensure they are both connected. If you're missing an extra EPS connector, fill in the 8pin(ATX12V1).

Just a note, if your PSU doesn't have enough connectors for your components, it might be because you have the incorrect PSU or incompatible hardware.

It's improbable that an additional X4 cable is required.
It provides extra capacity for increased overclocking or powerful graphics cards.
