Does the Bluetooth mouse experience lag more in the office than at home?
When I operate the mouse in the office it experiences stuttering,
but not at home.
The issue is that a 2.4ghz speed would be ideal, yet most of the problem stems from its Bluetooth capability. I checked it using a polling rate tester at home, which showed around 80-90 hertz. That’s acceptable. However, in the office it seems to operate at only 50 or less? That confirms it’s indeed slower. I’ve also heard about interference problems, but what bothers most is that the actual 'polling' speed on-screen is significantly lower than the reported 50.
i would prefer to check the PC in the office rather than the one at home... unless you use the same computer in both locations.
I believe it's not the mouse, but rather the signal not reaching the dongle on the PC (I assume it relies on a dongle).
Sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to. Bluetooth doesn't require a dongle, but 2.4GHz is still perfectly acceptable.
