Does the Asus desktop utilize exclusive connectors?
I understand you're planning to purchase an ASUS desktop, replace the power supply, and add a GPU. I'm unsure if ASUS desktops use proprietary connectors. I know Dell and HP models typically use those connectors. The specific model you mentioned is the: ASUS Expert Center D5ASUS Expert Center D5 Tower. EDIT: Thanks everyone for your feedback.
Welcome to the forums and a joyful New Year to all newcomers! The ASUS Expert Center D5 Tower is available. The SFF and MiniTower models come with unique motherboards and specific connectors. The Tower version typically features standard EPS and 24-pin main connectors.

In picture #6 it appears as a typical 24-pin power supply for the motherboard. However, there is uncertainty about whether ASUS modifies the 3.5V and 5.0V settings, adds an extra ground, or otherwise changes the original voltage configuration in that connector. This should be investigated to confirm if the wiring adheres to standard power supply pin-out specifications.
The only Asus desktop I've used has standard ATX power. There seems to be no specific reason for choosing this model. The motherboard appears to be in poor condition.
