The main worry was whether the 8-pin would allow overclocking on the card. From what I've noticed since the release, it doesn't seem to be an issue. Does anyone with this card agree that overclocking is restricted by the 8-pin setup? I've seen a 1080 at around 2193 with a 6+8 pin, but I'm not sure about the 8-pin alone. In short... would using just one 8-pin affect overclocking compared to a 6+8 pin?

It should likely affect the distance it can be moved. That's up to you to judge if it's worth it.
