Does the 2021 Asus Rog G15 present any problems?
Hello.
I'm checking the 2021 ASUS Rog G15 with Ryzen 5800H and RTX 3060.
Do you have any concerns about it?
Are the hinges solid or is the screen unstable like the HP Victus 16?
Are there more affordable choices under $1000 that match this build quality and cooling?
How does it compare to a Legion 5 in terms of construction?
Thanks.
The ROG G15 receives fairly positive feedback and offers good value for the price. It’s a solid option if you want to play games while traveling. Keep in mind it’s designed for gaming, which means battery life is quite limited. You should also think about how much you’ll need to carry it. Many buyers who chose gaming laptops ended up disappointed because they didn’t use them as intended; a traditional desktop would have provided a better experience at the same cost. If gaming isn’t your priority, the 2023 MacBook Air and even the 2022 model are excellent choices. They provide strong durability, reliable performance, and impressive battery life. If battery life is your main concern, a Mac might be a better fit. You can often find good deals on Apple’s Certified Refurbished site. Hope this helps, take care.
Thank you, but I require clarification on which laptop you're comparing. The comparison between Legion 5 2021 and Asus ROG 2021 depends on the specific model details and features you're interested in.
Listing a product's advantages is essentially an advertisement. Apple silicone laptops are clearly strong. He inquired about alternatives for 1000 with improved toughness. I replied that if you don’t play games, Apple offers some choices. If I had asked for a Windows machine or a solid laptop for 1000 dollars without naming a brand, it would imply other brands aren’t worth mentioning. That’s similar to asking for a good EVGA power supply while dismissing Corsair suggestions. Rather than challenging my answer, it would help if this person joined the discussion. This shouldn’t be a topic in a forum thread.
Thank you for your reply. I prefer using the keyboard built into my laptop instead of carrying extra devices like a mouse, charger, or keyboard. Regarding the choice between an ASUS keyboard and a Legion 5 keyboard, which one would you prefer?
To confirm, are you inquiring about the Zephyrus or Strix?
If it's the Zephyrus, it runs quite warm. I wasn't satisfied with mine and sent it back, but it was extremely durable, the sturdiest laptop I've ever owned.
If it's the Strix, it's well-made overall, not as rigid but still solid. It cools much better.
