Hi! so I'm currently using an HP Omen 15 from 2019 with a new i7-9750H and an RTX 3060 card. For the last month, I've had a weird problem that only happens to Genshin Impact. When I play the game, my screen suddenly goes black while the background music is still playing in the background. This forces me to restart my laptop by pressing the power button manually. I tried almost everything possible: reinstalling the game, reinstalling Windows, moving the installation folder to C/D, replacing the thermal paste, updating drivers, and reinstalling drivers. I've also checked that it isn't because of overheating since I play other heavy games at the same time and my temp readings are still in the 50-60 range. This is totally crazy because Genshin Impact is the ONLY game that has this issue. I have even contacted their support team and they say they are still looking into it, which could take many months to fix. Does anyone know what might be causing this? any advice would be super helpful thanks

It seems like a driver problem. Try updating both the Nvidia and Intel GPU drivers. Maybe the game is switching from the Intel to the Nvidia GPU automatically, which causes issues. Try running the game using either GPU separately and see if that helps. Right-click on the program icon to run it with the Nvidia GPU or with the Intel GPU to test each one.
