Budget: 2500$
Objectives: 1440p and 4K video editing, coding, and light gaming.
Hello. I aim to assemble a more advanced PC for my video editing and coding needs. I lack experience in constructing a modern system and am very receptive to suggestions for enhancing the setup.
I selected an Intel processor and a Nvidia graphics card, as I’ve heard they perform better than AMD alternatives.
Here’s what I have planned:
CPU: Intel Ultra 7 265K 3.9 GHz 20-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB 74.37 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z890 AORUS Elite WiFi-7 ATX LGA1851
Memory: Corsair Dominator Titanium 32GB (16GB X 2) DDR5-6000MHz CL30
SSD: WD Black SN850X 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 X4
GPU: Gigabyte AERO OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 256-Bit
Case: Corsair iCUE 5000D RGB Airflow ATX Mid-Tower Case
PSU: Corsair RM850e (2025) 850W 80+ Gold Full Modular PSU
Any improvements possible?
Are there any compatibility concerns?
Thank you in advance.

When working on video editing, it's recommended to have 64GB RAM, two NVMe drives, and one HDD.

It varies depending on what you're doing and the tools you're using. Nvida tends to perform better when you leverage its features, such as how apple silicon outperforms a 5090 when using Apple-friendly codecs and features. Sounds crazy, but it really comes down to your workflow. A 9900X also shines compared to any Intel chip in Photoshop.

Check if 64GB RAM is available instead of 32 and additional storage.
