Every single day, my Dell Precision powers up just before midnight when plugged in. Since this started happening, I've changed 3 times, turned off the Thunderbolt controller, shut down power saving for the LAN, stopped the lid opening from turning it on, blocked USB-C docks from waking me, and turned off wake timers in the BIOS settings. The problem is still going on, so tonight I'm going to take out the hard drive to see if that fixes it too. Are there any other settings I could check just in case they're causing this?

Sure, just remove the hard drive, network cable, and docking station so we can check things out.

My laptop started up by itself last night even though I didn't plug in a hard drive to the computer. The BIOS settings that were there before are still exactly the same.

Does this keep going, or get turned off after a bit of time? Have you checked the Task Scheduler to make sure no backups are scheduled for late nights? Also, since it's a Dell computer, try looking at any Dell software running that might be doing a backup.
