I had the same problem. If you use intel XTU, maybe that's why. Each time I tried to lower my processor speed with Intel XTU, right after I turned off my computer and turned it back on, it would crash right away after a couple of minutes.

Hmmm. It sounds a bit different but not really. I haven't changed voltages or speeds yet either. I still don't see any blue screens or scary messages. Instead, the computer just turns off and comes back on again without telling me anything. I also haven't installed XTU because it hasn't been my thing before.
