Does my HP Victus heat up more than the old laptop I used?
Hi everyone! I just got a HP Victus 15 gaming laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600h, RTX 3050ti, and 16GB RAM. But the temps are getting pretty high compared to before. When it's quiet (idle), they stay around 50 to 60 degrees, but when I use it a lot (under load), they hit up to 90 degrees, even going over 90 in some spots. Is this normal for this kind of laptop?
Yeah, you're right. Those gaming laptops are basically just fancy boxes with a lot of buttons on them, like the desktops but they can't be moved around easily. The only thing that actually makes sense is taking it to your house or the office. All other things? A regular PC wins big time when you need good cooling, easy upgrades, and ways to customize things. In these gaming laptops, everything fits into a tiny box like nothing else leaves room to cool properly. And because of that tight space, they will always hit their maximum temperature limit no matter what settings are used.
