Motherboard: ASRock Velocita Z690
CPU: I9-12900KF
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 4070
PSU: Corsair 750 (model not remembered, will update later)
Playing games such as Call Of Duty, First Descendant, and Marvel Rivals causes my computer to shut down.

The PSU's make, model, or part number is unclear. Age and whether it was purchased new or refurbished are important details. Just mentioning the brands and wattage doesn't provide much insight. I own a Seasonic 520, 550, 650, and 850. Good luck with identifying your specific unit!

An unexpected shutdown is pointing to a power usage problem. Adding a new GPU could demand higher voltage than your power source can handle when under stress. Many standard power supplies struggle to meet the needs of their included parts.

Corsair RM750 white is brand new, and I've already dealt with the PSU issues before. If we can bypass this step and actually identify the real problem, that would be great. I recently switched to a better PSU, so I'm confident it's not the cause.

Well, you didn't mention any troubleshooting attempts in your initial topic. So, how do we know what to do?

In reality, you haven't described any steps you've tried so far. You only stated that you have a problem and provided PC specifications.

What PSU would you suggest? Thanks for the quick response—your temperatures were high, so a new cooler is definitely needed. Your CPU hit 100°C while running those games.

i understand you require strong cooling for the i9 12900ks cpu since i'm currently using it at 360 with a high temperature limit of 99°C at 5.2GHz. I'll upgrade to 420AIO soon.
