Does my computer restart unexpectedly?
I attempted both methods, used the previous version, then did a complete clean install afterward. Also, ran the memtest on my RAMs. I'm wondering why, when in safemode, my PC doesn't restart or cause a crash—only in normal mode, sometimes it works perfectly, like right now, and I've been using it for two hours without any issues.
The safe mode situation points to a possible driver problem. It might also reflect a genuine hardware fault, such as when a driver activated all device features.
You don't actually set up the operating system, you simply use a USB drive. No changes are made to your SSD or HDD.
This method helps isolate potential hardware problems.
I suggest trying Mint: https://linuxmint.com/
You'll get used to the interface right away.
Download the ISO file and use an app such as Rufus to copy it onto a USB drive. Start your computer from the USB. That's essentially all you need to do.
AMD compatibility is solid.
Alright! I plan to try it tomorrow, since here in our country it's already 12am in the morning. Thank you for the advice! I'll get back to you if I notice any improvements.
