Planning to purchase an i5 6500 (non K) and attempt overclocking to approximately 4 - 4.2ghz. Is this motherboard compatible for that upgrade?
Link: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asrock-z...b-31-aplus
Remaining components:
Sapphire RX 480 OC+ 8GB
XFX PRO 550w
120gb PNY SSD
500gb WD HDD
8gb DDR4 Corsair Vengeance (2666)
Possible concerns?

The motherboard is fine but you need a K series CPU, as scuzzycard said.
If you're overclocking in the hope that it'll improve your gaming experience then you'll be disappointed. from a gaming perspective, overclocking is only worthwhile if the CPU is bottlenecking the GPU, which isn't the case with you.

To achieve overclocking, consider getting a K-series. It will make you much more satisfied. Boards such as this are ideal for those with non-K systems who wish to enhance their performance.
