I've just purchased BF4 and am seeking improvements to make it run smoothly. Mantle frequently keeps it in window mode, which is frustrating and causes FPS drops. I'm currently using DirectX.

Disable post-processing effects and set shadows to a medium level. This will significantly improve frame rate and increase screen blur. Your setup includes a 4790k at 4.7ghz, and DX11 works well.

I think the 2GB cards are still causing issues.

Sure, I'll give it a shot. Thanks. I'll switch from Mantle then, haha.

You got a powerful CPU paired with a decent cooler, but you still opt for mid-range cards. That’s totally normal!

Anti aliasing post-processing enhances motion blur and removes noise effects. It improves clarity during movement, especially on medium terrain decorations. The low weapon/ads depth of field helps focus attention while ads appear. Effects quality medium balances visual appeal with subtlety, making explosions and other details look good without being too distracting. This setup gives a polished gameplay experience while maintaining a competitive perspective.

Anticipating 390x settings too. Also, I suggest boosting brightness to 100. It doesn<|pad|> to seem unchanged, but it greatly enhances visibility of people in shadows. Super helpful for tough situations like mine.

Getting the 270x was a strange play, I think.

I often play emulation games that don’t need a strong card. I recently bought another R9 270 just to experiment with crossfirex and it was a good deal.
