I'm working with an EVGA 500 B1 and have recently boosted my system settings.
My setup includes a GIGABYTE Z97-X GAMING 7 with a Core i7-4790K OC'd at 4.6GHz, 1.215V, using CRYORIG H7.
I also have a PNY ANARCHY DDR3 1600 CL9 OC'd at 2133MHz and 1.65V CL11.
My other components are the EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC, EVGA 500 B1, Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB (OS+Games), and Kingston V300 120GB (Games).
The Hitachi Ultrastar 2TB 7,200RPM is listed but marked as trash do not buy.

this list contains all the PSUs we consider acceptable and understand they're not ideal. Please review it thoroughly and consider getting a few lower-tier PSUs to avoid potential issues later.

You demonstrated good judgment by choosing a series instead of relying solely on brand names. Many PSU makers, such as Seasonic and re-sellers like Corsair, offer products across a wide range of price points—from top to average and even below average. The X-Series (650, 750, and 850 watts) comes from Seasonic's high-quality X KM3 platform, which also includes the Antec EDGE 850, XFX ProSeries 750/850, XFX XTR 850, and XFX XTS 1000.

Thanks for the updates. I had to complete a task today and possibly ordered something since it was discounted a lot, but it sold out. Should I consider upgrading to a better power supply than my current EVGA 500 B1? I’m only using it occasionally, about an hour every other day.
