"Silver piece" sourced from a silicone lottery; values are slightly boosted for stability. Typical temperatures: 30°C idle, 75°C under continuous 100% load (repeated cinebench). Tested at 4.65GHz for roughly ten minutes, reaching near 80°C after 20–30 minutes of use.
I assembled an R7 5800X system for my OLED TV in the living room last week. It runs a bit hotter than my i9 9900K, but at 1080p it consistently delivers 10 to 15 extra frames. I’m using a 360mm AIO cooler, which works well with models like NH-D15 or Dark Rock Pro. For a cooler setup, consider CPUs with fewer cores such as R5 5600X or i5 11600K. I believed 75-80°C was acceptable for Zen3/5800X. These settings seem quite artificial to me. My tasks and gaming rarely keep all cores at full capacity for extended periods. I recently played through busy sections of Night City in Cyberpunk for about ten minutes (maximum details & RTX, 1440p, using DLSS, 50-60FPS). Temperatures stayed around 65-70°C (I might have used too little paste—opted for a standard "pea-sized" application with a "Kryonaut").
