I have a Ryzen 5 2600X with 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and I've adjusted the BIOS to run at 3200MHz. The 2600X can handle up to 2933MHz, so my RAM is being underclocked to that speed. My question is: if I were to overclock my CPU, would it improve the RAM's supported speed? If yes, how much would I need to increase the 2600X's clock speed to support 3200MHz RAM and enable it to run at that rate?

Initially, you need to distinguish between RAM speed (actually performance) and its frequency. Therefore, RAM wouldn't increase in frequency but could improve in terms of performance alongside a higher CPU speed, which is a very limited range. On the other hand, Ryzen performs well with...

cpu and ram oc are distinct components. You don't need to adjust them simultaneously.
