Hello, I am considering buying a Ryzen 3 1200. From YouTube videos I noticed that increasing the Ryzen 3 1200 to 3.8ghz requires boosting the RAM as well. They mentioned overclocking the 2400mhz RAM to 3200mhz for better gaming performance. My concern is whether, if I set my Ryzen 3 1200 to 3.7ghz or 3.8ghz and have an 8GB 3000Mhz RAM, I still need to overclock the RAM. Also, I plan to use an Asus Prime B350M K motherboard.

You don't need to boost your RAM's speed. Many individuals opt for slower RAM and instead overclock it. A 3000mhz RAM is sufficient on its own.
