Does increasing the clock speed impact how long your GPU lasts?
i just bought an rx 5700 non-xt and initially thought about overclocking, but it didn’t perform much. i only increased the power limit to 20%, adjusted the clock speed to 1750–1775, changed the mem clock from 1725 to 1800 mhz. i’m curious if this will significantly impact my gpu’s lifespan or cause it to slow down.
Yes. Increasing the speed beyond limits impacts the durability of overclocked components, particularly when voltage is raised. The adjustments you've made shouldn't significantly alter long-term results. Performance gains are likely minimal since the modifications are minor. It should be okay.

Overclocking can affect the longevity of your equipment. It's hard to predict exactly how much damage it might cause.
