Hello, I’m interested in purchasing the HP Victus 16-E0005NT.
It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 512GB M.2 SSD, and a 16.1-inch IPS screen with 144Hz refresh rate.
The battery capacity is 70Wh.
The specifications and price look good, but I’m concerned about the build quality. Is it reliable?

Hey there,
The Victus line is aimed at beginners in gaming laptops. From a specs perspective, they offer decent performance. The build quality is average, mostly using black plastics, and the screen hinges feel a bit weak. The display itself is average, though the 165hz is a plus—it’s great for games like CSGO if you push the GPU to its limits. If you upgrade by 100-200, you might get an Omen model, which has better construction and cooling. I think the Victus could overheat, and since I can’t find a specific review for that Victus model, it’s likely similar. AMD processors tend to run cooler than these.
